Una professoressa (Noémie Merlant) legge ad alta voce alcuni estratti delle scene di violenza contro le donne più salienti tratte da Le metamorfosi di Ovidio. Mentre questi antichi versi riecheggiano nell’aula, gli studenti iniziano a prendere coscienza della crudeltà nascosta sotto la poesia – i miti si rivelano uno specchio inquietante della realtà contemporanea.
Synopsis
A professor (Noémie Merlant) reads aloud to her class some of the most salient excerpts of violence against women from Ovid’s Metamorphoses. As the ancient verses echo through the classroom, the students begin to realize the cruelty hidden behind the poetry: the myths reveal themselves to be an unsettling mirror of a reality that remains all too current
